Silver Creek Winery was born in 2024, with the goal of offering premium wines made from 100% Texas fruit.
Yanmei Zhang, the founder of Silver Creek Winery with a graduate degree in Viticulture and Enology from Texas Tech University has over a decade of hands on wine making experience. Experience needed in handling Texas grapes, which can be very challenging due to the unpredictability of Mother Nature in this region. Yanmei's motto when making all wines is "Let the Fruit speak for itself".
Silver Creek partners with award-winning grape growers in Texas, who are dedicated to cultivating the highest quality and unique fruits.
Our current releases are from the Texas High Plains. The region's climate, characterized by high elevation flat terrain, and low rainfall, provides he ideal environment for grape growing.
