The Common Thread is a pop-up bookshop built on a simple idea: stories are the common thread that bring people together. We passionately believe that seeing the world through someone else’s eyes decreases divisiveness. Learning about people who are different from you increases empathy, kindness, and understanding. Rooted in community and connection, we are inspired by the belief that stories deepen our shared humanity.

Join us for a seasonal selection of books inspired by the dog days of summer and the coldest corners of the world —from novels about our favorite four-legged companions and stories set in icy, wintry places. Come browse, sip wine, swap stories, and help us put a literary bow on summer!
